Curaçao Clean Up has developed the first educational curriculum on waste and sustainability for young people in Curaçao.
This With “Di Shushi pa Dushi”, students ages 13 to 16 learn in a practical and relatable way what waste is, how we can reduce it, and what they can do to create a cleaner island.
The curriculum includes short videos in Papiamento (with English subtitles) and worksheets in Dutch and Papiamento. Everything was produced locally, with recordings in Corsou, so that the young people feel truly connected.

This educational program from Greenkidz raises environmental awareness among teenagers and teaches them about waste, recycling, and the problem of plastic in the ocean. It encourages them to embrace a sustainable lifestyle based on the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Refuse. (Dutch/papiamento).
World without waste
Greenkidz developed this 8-part guest lecture program in close collaboration with the University of Curaçao (UoC) for the LOFO subject Nature, Environment, and Technology (NMT). It raises environmental awareness among student teachers and educates them about plastic and recycling. In addition, it introduces modern didactic methods and passes on the GreenKidz philosophy and teaching materials to next-generation teachers. (Dutch).

This educational program from Greenkidz is about plastic and recycling. It teaches children what the environment is and how they can take care of it. It explores the concepts of waste and litter, as well as the decomposition times of organic waste, cardboard, glass, plastic, and aluminum. The program places a strong focus on plastic in the ocean, showing how harmful plastic litter is for plants, animals, and people—and how children themselves can make a difference by recycling plastic.
